QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a Hotel Sales Manager to join our Sales Team at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Istanbul-Tekstilkent. As a 5-star establishment located in the Esenler Tekstilkent Region on the European side of Istanbul, we provide our team members with the opportunity to work in a dynamic and upscale environment. • Drive new business growth, increase revenue, and secure deals through cold calling, on-site visits, sales tours, and community networking.
• Identify new business prospects by investigating local market trends and competitor activities.
• Establish and expand our market presence by fostering and maintaining client relationships.
• Support the Sales Director in formulating the department budget, as well as outlining the overall sales goals and strategies for the hotel.
• Address customer complaints and mitigate any issues that could hinder efficient sales operations.
• Represent the company at corporate meetings as a knowledgeable and engaging ambassador.
Qualifications
• University degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• A minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the hotel and/or service industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Superior sales and customer service skills with a proven record in negotiation.
• Proficiency in computer use, particularly Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Opera software.
• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license.
