QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Delta Hotels by Marriott Istanbul Levent is looking an experienced Group and Event Sales Manager to join sales and marketing team.
- Identify potential clients and market segments for group and event bookings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and other potential customers.
- Create and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Prepare proposals, contracts, and negotiate pricing and terms with clients.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences.
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including catering, audiovisual, room setup, and guest accommodations.
- Ensure all client needs and expectations are met before, during, and after the event.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and guests, addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Handle inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Conduct site tours for potential clients and provide information on facilities and services.ollaborate with other hotel departments, such as catering, banquet, and front office, to ensure seamless event execution.
- Work closely with the hotel's revenue management team to optimize pricing strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- University degree in a relevant field
- Experience in a similar position in the tourism and hospitality industry
- Proficient in English
- Experienced in market analysis and research, with strong communication skills and belief in teamwork.
- Committed to working with a guest satisfaction focus.
- Proficient in using Opera software and well-versed in basic office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Completed military service (for male candidates)
