We’re looking for Senior Raw Material Purchasing Specialist who will be part of our growing team at Seluz Fragrance & Flavor Company in Silivri, İstanbul.
Main Tasks:
- Develop & implement end to end sourcing strategies for key perfumery raw materials
- Build strategic supplier relationships, driving commercial, sustainable, innovation and performance initiatives
- Ensure key interface role in shortage management.
- Maximizing the benefits by having market/source knowledge in cooperation with the buyers.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for key raw materials including fragrance and flavors
- Manage inventory value by cooperating with the related disciplines.
- Ensure secured supply by sourcing and engaging reliable vendors.
- Negotiating with vendors to secure advantageous terms.
- Manage/control purchase orders in cost and service level
- Ensure KPIs are achieved.
- Perform risk assessment on supply, contracts and agreements and proactively inform the management for the upcoming risks.
- Provide R&D and Commercial teams proactively with raw material market insight, where needed.
- Work with R&D team closely for new and existing products with supply risk.
Requirements:
- Graduated from relevant undergraduate departments
- Min 5 years of experience in direct procurement activities preferably in fragrance and flavor Industry
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Proficient in use of MS Office Applications and ERP Program
- Advanced in effective negotiantions an communication skills , high level of coordination and has problem solving skills,
- Experienced in strategy development, supplier research-development
- High level knowledge about Procurement and Contract Management processes,
- Key skills and abilities include proactive, analytical thinking and problem solving,
- Good communicator, team player, dynamic, goal oriented, highly flexible and hardworking
