MARKETING SUPERVISOR – TURKIYE

AlgaEnergy Biyoteknoloji Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi ( ABIT ) started its operations in Turkey in 2019 as a subsidiary of AlgaEnergy Agribiologicals., a biotechnology company headquartered in Spain. AlgaEnergy Agribiologicals (algaenergy.com) uses advanced technology and production processes to produce high-quality products for the agriculture. AlgaEnergy is building a strong international presence, as well as global licensing and product development activities, to deliver innovative biological solutions for agriculture throughout the world.

As its main line of activity, ABIT has made significant progress in the agricultural sector since its establishment. ABIT would like to employ a full time Marketing Supervisor for Turkiye for its growing organization in the Region with the main job responsibilities as defined below:

General purpose and scope of the position:

This is a position with tremendous opportunity to learn and grow.

Responsible for providing marketing and communications support to the Turkish Sales team. This position will assist in the primary development and strategic management of all external communications. In addition to marketing and sales communications, this position will assist in areas such as packaging and label design, market research, PR, generation of content, social media management, website maintenance/development, and trade show coordination. Additionally, this role will drive key marketing communication initiatives on a global and country-specific basis.

This position will be based in Istanbul and will require the employee to work in the office and travel periodically to visit clients.

We’re looking for a smart, motivated, proactive, self-starter that we can train and will grow within the company.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and track marketing programs for Turkiye business, such as email, social media, or digital campaigns, and events

- Manage marketing portfolio and product portfolio materials for Turkiye business

- Collaborate with other internal teams (e.g. product and sales) to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives
Organize, support and coordinate local events

- Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns

- Conduct market research and analyze trends to identify new marketing opportunities

- Develop and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree required. (preferably Business Administration, Marketing, Department of Communications etc.)

- 1-3 years of experience in marketing, communication and brand management

Background in Agriculture or Science (preferred)

- Fluent in English, both written and spoken (essential)

- Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as Ads/Social media etc.) and market research methods

- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)

- Organizational skills, event organization experience a plus

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail.

- Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills

- Spanish Bilingual a plus

- Ability to work in a lean, fast pace, flexible, proactive, result oriented organization.
