University degree in Tourism and Hotel Management,
Minimum of 4 years’ experience at relevant position,
Excellent command of written and spoken English is required,
Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications and OPERA property management system,
Have a strong ability to analyze
No limitation to travel within Turkey and abroad,
No military obligations for male candidates,
Good communication skills,
Time management skills.
Ability to enforce all company rules and procedures.
Ability to maintain calm, polite, and patient in stressful situations
Ability to work well with other departments and co-workers
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for managing his/her assigned group of accounts and following up to materialize the budgeted revenues of Group & Events segment through existing clientele and key prospects,
Cooperating with the Director of Sales&Marketing in reaching and surpassing the targeted goals of the hotel. To ensure accomplishment of all related group contracts,
To proactively manage MICE accounts within the Sales & Marketing department in charge of local and international agencies for group bookings,
This position is designed to maximize revenues in room and F&B areas of the hotel and maintain high standards of service.
Understand the competitive market place and implement approaches to ensure the hotel stays ahead in the local market
Work within current business strategies and recognise potential opportunities
Develop and implement creative local marketing channels including social media sites
Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel, and manage the departments' adherence to achieving that strategy
Maximise all Revenue opportunities
Analyse local market trends and develop new business leads
