QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance or relevant disciplines,
- CPA (SMMM) qualification
- Having knowledge of all processes related to General Accounting, Cost Accounting, local GAAP, financial statement Analysis and tax legislation,
- Up to date and adequate level of knowledge and understanding of relevant tax laws and regulations
- At least 15 years of experience in accounting and tax fields.
- At least 5 years of experience in management role.
- Tax audit and/or consultancy experience is preferred
- Fluent in English
- High degree of proficiency in MS Office products with expertise in MS Excel/PowerPoint,
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Male candidates should have no military obligations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the whole general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cost accounting and taxes,
- Managing closing activities monthly/annual basis and reporting the results to Finance Director in a timely manner
- Preparation of statutory monthly filings and participation in annual audits & also prepares the tax reporting package
- Supporting quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls or audit,
- Prepare, review, and analyze the financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness before periodical reporting,
- Maintaining the financial records and statements as per company policy, local laws and regulations,
- Preparation and declaration of all tax returns properly (VAT, WHT, CIT, etc),
- Reconciliation and follow up with current accounts outstanding receivables and payables
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships,
- Coordinating and solving matters with consultants, auditors, tax authorities and other parties.
