QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
During the 35 years from the day of its establishment, Iltekno has realized a number of innovative power generation and cogeneration/trigeneration applications in various sectors like hotels, hospitals, airports, universities, landfills, biogas plants, industrial facilities and IPPs. With its in-house engineering, design, procurement, installation and after-sales services, Iltekno offers turnkey solutions with the most appropriate configurations to meet the needs of its customers.
An opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Project Specialist to work within the Project Management Office department of İltekno. This position forms part of the project management team and will be responsible for commercial activities in the project management and cooperating with various departments (Sales, Accounting and Finance, Project Management, Procurement, Logistics etc.) for better deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Create awareness within the project organization for commercial and financial issues,
- Cash Flow planning and execution,
- Maintain and manage invoicing and payment processes of the projects,
- Insurance and Claim Management,
- Management of payment securities (LC) and shipment documentation.
- Identifying and averting commercial risks (risk management),
- Project cost controlling and reporting,
- Securing the flow of information between the procurement, logistics, accounting, finance and the project organization,
- Observing accounts to identify overdue payments (cash in management)
- Execution, preparation and follow-up of the payment requests in coordination with Procurement Department (cash out management),
- Communicate with clients to discuss account statuses, charges, or discrepancies,
- Support for commercial tasks by assisting procurement & logistics processes,
- Supporting and detailing ordering and invoicing processes,
- Building relationships and maintaining frequent contact with key customers, potential internal and external customers,
Experience / Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, economics and administrative sciences - Business Administration, Economics, Finance and Engineering relevant fields,
- Good command of Microsoft Office tools usage, especially excel,
- Analytical thinking skills, good at account management, documentation, reporting,
- Intermediate-to-Advanced spreadsheets/financial application skills are required,
- Experience in an aspect of commercial project management processes is a plus,
- Desire to have a career path in commercial affairs related jobs,
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), including the ability to convey processes and results clearly and with conviction to all levels of stakeholders,
- Advanced level of English both written and spoken,
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the power plant installation and after sale services is a plus,
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to plan and prioritize workload in line with business needs,
- Ability building collaboration with team members and customers
