Responsibilities :
· Carrying out the product classification under export control law, including the necessary ones, Interface work with research & development and the product managers
· Implementation of operational export controls: screening of sanctions lists, embargo regulations, Product-related control and end-use testing.
· Application for export & import permits – as well as general export permits
· Ensuring compliance with all internal and external requirements
· Conducting training in all areas related to export control within the company
· Regular project meetings with the specialist departments in the international logistics network professional coordination of different interests
· Support of worldwide offices
· Participation in Intrastat and Environmental product fee administration.
· Participation in investigations and inspections conducted by the authorities.
· Optimizing customs and delivery processes, establishing standards and operating the processes.
· Complete customs management of export and import goods and the related administration.
Requirements:
· Successfully completed studies in finance (diploma/master), law or Economics with a focus on foreign trade / customs law, alternatively completed Degree in industrial engineering or comparable qualification
· Several years of professional experience in the field of customs / foreign trade in an international company, alternatively: high product knowledge in the technical environment
· Knowledge of customs and foreign trade law
· Project management experience
· Experience in training, moderation and presentation
· Fluent English language skills required
· Very good knowledge of SAP and MS Office (especially Excel)
· Very good analytical and conceptual skills
· Strong solution-oriented thinking
· Structured way of working and high team spirit
