We are looking for an “ Front Desk Agent who is dynamic, pro-active and enthusiastic.

Qualifications

· Bachelor degree or suitable equivalent.

· Two years’ hotel front desk agent experience within a luxury environment

· Knowledge of computers and systems such as PMS, Excel, PowerPoint and related office software.

· Experience with Fidelio Suite8 is a plus

· Able to communicate in written and spoken English and Turkish

· Ability to maintain calm, polite, and patient in stressful situations

· Ability to work well with other departments and co-workers

· Physically agile, and able to stand for extended periods

· Available to work shifts, over weekends and on public holidays

Job Description

· Checks in guest in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible. Assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest room. Issues correct keys to the guest.

· Checks out guest at end of stay. Ascertains guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges and presents bill to guest. Settles bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction.

· Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data.

· Anticipate up-selling and cross-selling opportunities encouraging our guests to use the hotel facilities for their enjoyment

· Collects payments by accepting cash or credit card.

· Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift.

· Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.

· Ensure that both the front office manager and supervisors are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments

· Ensuring front desk work area is kept clean and in an orderly state at all time

· Maintain professional image while on duty with well grooming hygiene and prescribed uniform.
