QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and continually enhance the local and regional supplier portfolio to achieve QCD targets and align with the defined strategy.
• Identify, generate, and implement sustainable cost reduction initiatives to achieve targets effectively.
• Ensure the continuous supply of third-party materials and external contract manufacturing by maintaining adequate long-term capacity within the assigned area, in alignment with defined objectives.
• Collaborate with relevant experts to continuously improve quality performance through the appropriate implementation of material group strategies.
• Manage and make sourcing decisions in accordance with the defined strategy.
• Participate in transfer, insourcing, outsourcing, and cost optimization projects within the assigned area, facilitating knowledge transfer as required.
• Enhance supplier-related risk management and contract management practices within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Maintain ongoing communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure high performance in quality, cost, delivery, and overall performance.
• Conduct frequent negotiations with suppliers to improve cost, quality, and delivery performance, including contract discussions.
• Regularly clarify technical and commercial aspects related to the procurement of third-party materials or external contract manufacturing, occasionally requiring on-site visits to suppliers
• Make frequent purchasing decisions within the framework of the signature regulation.
• Communicate regularly and provide reports to the Category Lead Buyer and superiors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics.
• Demonstrated ability to provide functional leadership to a local/regional project team within the assigned area of responsibility.
• Proven capability to engage with and influence stakeholders both internally and externally.
• Prior work experience in purchasing and negotiations.
• Proficiency in understanding procurement markets, industrial sectors, and manufacturing technologies.
• Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, with proficiency in technology-enabled communication.
