QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
ALCE is a worldwide supplier to global energy distribution companies and switchgear manufacturers with solutions for measurement and insulation devices.
ALCE has been designing and manufacturing measurement transformers, insulators and epoxy parts for more than 50 years.
We are looking for a “Head of Production” directly reporting to the Managing Director and with the following qualifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS / MS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 15 years of experience in a production company that manufactures on order basis (production management, white and blue-collar personnel management and working in shifts)
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial role
- Experience in “Medium Voltage, Low Voltage and Ring Core Transformers” is preferred.
- Knowledge about quality systems, cost and efficiency.
- Advanced level of written and spoken English.
- Experience in using ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Effectively using MS Office programs.
- Having the ability of teamwork and cooperation.
- Strong communication skills and human relations.
- Having an investigative personality, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, open to innovations and development.
- Able to take responsibility and take initiative.
- No military service obligation for male candidates.
- Living or able to live on the Asian side of Istanbul or Gebze - Çayırova - Darıca region.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all production processes.
- In charge of leading and managing the production team including white collar and blue collar employees
- Ensuring that production processes are carried out timely and effectively in accordance with the production plans and programs, quality standards and procedures, and that cost targets are met.
- Maintaining close communication with Sales, Planning and Quality departments.
- Meeting at regular intervals with related departments and reviewing the problems in the production program.
