QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

As Baosteel Tailored Blanks, for more than 30 years, we’ve been giving a new lightness to body and vehicle construction with the Tailored Blanks we’ve developed. Our innovative technologies and tailor-made lightweight solutions have made us the market leader and a reliable partner for the automotive industry – at 17 production sites worldwide today. Our Turkey Plant is in Bursa. We are seeking an "Accounting Specialist" for our team.

Job Description:

  • Making and monitoring all accounting records
  • Establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures for the company
  • Reviewing accounting transactions (both legal and IFRS) and ensuring the integrity, accuracy and compliance of reports and accounting records with accepted accounting policies & principles and regulatory requirements
  • To ensure that all financial responsibilities are fulfilled promptly, completely and correctly
  • Responsible for VAT refund. Examining the audit reports related to tax legislation and applying the necessary improvements in the process and adapting the updates
  • Monitoring and controlling the execution of the activities in accordance with the budget.
  • Preparing monthly and quarterly management reporting.
  • Leading the middle year and year-end inventory counting activities and controlling the financial records
  • Carrying out automation and productivity-enhancing activities on SAP
  • Reporting the monthly balance sheet, income statement, fund flow, working capital, sales reports and other financial indicators, making analyzes to be made in the perspective of the cause-effect-improvement proposal, (both TR GAAP & IFRS)
  • Coordination of audit processes and preparation of relevant reports
  • Preparation of monthly VAT1, VAT2, Muhsgk, Gekap and Provisional Taxes on time
  • Responsible for HR and administration affairs. (recruiting, education, organizing and payroll, etc)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business administration, economics, or similar
  • Having at least 5 years of experience
  • Excellent knowledge of English*
  • Good command of MS Office and SAP (FI-CO)*
  • CPA (SMMM) license is preferable.
  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with profound time management and planning skills
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and coordination skills
