GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

Job Scope As a pricing manager, you will work closely with ME regional pricing desk to grow our network of agents and vendors. You will also have direct contact and coordination with local Turkey sales team to Scope 1: Strategic Pricing Analysis - Supervises pricing team across GES Middle East Region offices. - Ensure pricing team are responding timely to all pricing requests. - Support & direct pricing team in compiling and distributing pricing matrixes under several carriers/airlines ,with supporting terms and conditions. - Participate in leading and directing pricing strategy formulation and take necessary actions to ensure integrity and accuracy in all pricing matters. - Drive best pricing solutions in order to maximize profitability . - Assist in creating pricing matrixes and sales campaigns. - To upkeep strong rapport with all carriers , agents and service providers for long term agreements - Conduct regular follow meetings with carriers/agents for best price availability - Coordinate with the networking department to identify top carriers/agents/ per trade lane. - Tracking market trends and keeping up to date on prices set by competitors - Coordinate with ME country managers to make a comprehensive proposal framed with relevant terms & conditions. - Perform a quarterly pricing evaluation with resepct to different carriers on pre-defined criteria (service, price, follow up) . - Allign with sales team to get timely feedback, respond to opportunities by sourcing pricing and providing deal coordination support . - Coordinate with internal team including sales, operations as well as vendors (vendors) to source pricing and freight information. - Take part & lead (when & where necessary) the pricing negotiations based on sales provided target rates . - Process pricing requests for intenational airfreight and oceanfreight businesses. (export, import , cross, Etc…) – in coordination with the pricing team. - Assure any changes made to the services/rates by service providers are circulated - Assist in all day-to day inquiries /challenges faced by the group with the carriers & agents. - Provide continuous leadership, coaching , development to subordinates . Scope 2: Pricing Support - Support networking department with the agent pricing assessment through providing routinely feedback on agents pricing, relationship & performance. - Attend joined sales visits to potential clients. - Maintain pricing history for future or cross functional partner reference. - Maintain the database of contractual rates making it easily accessible to all involved in a timely matter. Scope 3: Reporting - Prepare & submit the pricing dashboard to direct manager on monthly basis. - Support direct manager and provide the necessary level of analysis upon requests. - Ensure pricing team are reporting their daily inquiries received from sales/operations/house accounts on daily basis ,and updaying their status on weekly basis into the pricing reporting tool. - Enursing Weekly reports convering enquiry status are sent by the pricing team , to the sales team to monitor shipping progress . Qualifications - BA in logistics, supply chain ,management or any relevant field. - Excellent knowledge of MS. Office (Excel, Word, ppt, and visio) - 8 to 10years experience working in the freight forwarding industry, preferably in pricing unit - Ability to work under pressure within a network of agents - Demonstrable strategic thinking abilities, critical thinking, detail-orientation, and communication skills. - Excellent command of English and Arabic, any other language is a plus .
