JOB DESCRIPTION
Assembling the HW configuration of active elements of the network and internal firewalls (Switches, supervisors, wireless controllers, access points, firewalls etc.) Administration and operation of network and network security services (wired and wireless) Firmware upgrades Configuration and administration of network (incl. Wi-Fi) and security devices Setting and managing VLANs Setting and managing network according to customer NAC requirements (wired and wireless) Monitoring the availability of external connections (incl. intersite connections) 2nd level support Escalation cases to the ext. partner Ensuring backup of configurations Supervising the operation (daily monitoring, log analysis, etc.) Troubleshooting, diagnosis Support in troubleshooting and diagnosis of workstations and laptops Support and contribution with IS team members in troubleshooting and diagnosis of IS related issues Restoring, reconfiguration of devices Modifications, improvements according to customer requests, other project activities implying modification of the network or security Supporting the alert systems based on e-mail (or SMS) and on-line monitoring Deployment of customer security projects Making an inventory / survey of the IT services and devices ==> documentation, risk management plan HW maintenance for switches, Consultative assistance Contribution and support in any IT audit Complance of security rules and NDA Incidents analysis according to customer rules (PDCA, QRQC) Using ticketing system, indicators and follow-ups Documentation DRP and DRP tests, tests reports Managing internal firewall (clusters - also via manager interface) Contribution in installation of IP phones system in all locations Coming: replacing APs with new ones on all sites
