QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Accounting Manager Requirements;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field,
- Experience in Management, Accounting, or a related field may be preferred,
- Excellent leadership and communication skills,
- Have experience in SAP,
- Strong understanding of accounting, finance, and management principles,
- Exceptional math skills,
- High level of efficiency and accuracy,
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, and company regulations,
- Attention to detail and the ability to analyze large amounts of data,
- Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
Responsibilities ;
- Ensuring that all accounting processes align with Local GAAP, IFRS and current financial legislation,
- Preparation and filing of all Statutory Tax Returns (VAT1, VAT2, Stamp, GEKAP, SCT, WHT, Quarterly Yearly CIT) and Independent Audits as per the Statutory Regulations)
- Timely reconciliation to General Ledger from all input sources, (such as Sales, A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets, Inventory, cash, checks etc.)
- Clearing of the GRNI accounts
- Review and manage accrual accounts
- Review the IFRS16 postings
- G/L accounts valuations
- Intercompany sales, purchases and balances confirmations on the monthly basis
- G/L reccuring postings
- Supervision of bank statement postings
- Supervision of payroll calculation and posting
- Active participation in month end closings of the Sales Network and Plant
- Monthly e-ledger preparation and submissions,
- Ensure timely bank payments,
- Preparation of TUIK reports, (statistical reports, Questionnaire etc.)
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary,
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements,
- Hiring, training, and motivating accounting staff members while supervising and delegating department tasks,
- Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
