- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related disciplines,
- Min +5 years of experience in purchasing,
- Experience in strategic sourcing and contract negotiations,
- Strong communication and negotiation skills,
- Excellent command of written and spoken English,
- Advanced user of MS Office applications,
- Preferably knowledge of SAP,
- Experienced in building and maintaining effective internal customer and supplier relationships,
- Highly analytical, strong follow-up and project management competencies,
- Out of box thinking, crisis management skills,
- Valid driving license and experience,
- No military obligation for male candidates,
- Residing or willing to live in Sakarya,
- No travel restriction.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1996, Ak Gıda having 6 plants and over 2500 employees offers its consumers healthy and tasty milk and dairy products.
In 2015, Groupe Lactalis, the leader of the global dairy market, incorporated Ak Gıda into its organization which has the brands President, Galbani and Parmalat. The brand İçim is the 3rd biggest brand of Groupe Lactalis in Europe.
We are currently looking for a Purchasing Executive to join our rapidly-expanding Turkish enterprise.
- Professional sourcing of products/services for one of the sub-portfolios for Indirect Category in 6 plants of Ak Gıda,
- Procurement of Technical Materials, Equipments, Spare Parts, etc in desired quality, price and standards,
- Managing tender relationships effectively, developing alternatives constantly and sourcing tenders both locally and globally,
- Create and implement the purchasing vision including policies and processes to improve the business performance,
- Contribute to cost reduction and flow optimization,
- Visit suppliers to better understand their processes, perform quality inspections, create alternative sources, and secure the supply,
- Process new vendor onboardings, follow the invoices and secure that payments to be done in line with agreed payment terms,
- Ensure stakeholders are properly submitting purchase requests,
- Interact with all levels of the company for routine administrative support.
