QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Ekomak PC is looking for a Planning & Logistics Team Leader for its new plant location, Kocaeli. Planning & Logistics Team Leader will lead whole planning and internal logistics team to ensure on time and in full delivery of the products. He/She will establish clear and continuous communication with customers and a high level of collaboration with stakeholders with proactive approach.
Ideal candidate will support the Group's Vision "First in Mind and First in Choice" by focusing on and continuously promoting and developing a Customer-Value and a Customer-Care driven culture within the organization. He/She will also promote and implement the core values of the group: Interaction, innovation & commitment.
Position will be located in Dilovası, Kocaeli location.
Responsibilities:
- To lead planning & logistics activities with close collaboration with internal and external customers
- Direct customer contact, handling customer relations with local and international customer centers
- Order intake, production planning, material planning, inventory control, inbound warehouse and internal logistics activities are main responsibilities
Customer focus
- Aiming on time and in full delivery
- Demanding and following customer forecasts
- Communication of delays in the plan and implementing counter measures in a proactive manner
- Communication of production lead times and aiming for continuous improvement
Safety focus
- To run internal logistics and warehouse activities with HSE focus
Operational Excellence focus
- To improve production planning to optimize plant operations while ensuring customer satisfaction
- To continuously improve internal logistics activites for better material flow to improve efficiency
- To optimize inventory level in the plant operations
New product launch
- Properly plan phase in and phase out of the projects to minimize costs
Qualifications;
- University degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years experience in production companies within operations teams, preferably in planning & logistics functions.
- Knowledge and deep understanding of planning and logistics acitivities.
- Analytical thinking, data driven decision making.
- Good communicator.
- Experience on problem solving tools.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- MS Office applications & computer knowledge.
- Advanced English skills.
- ERP understanding and experience is essential.
