General Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, automation or related field
- Master's degree in engineering management or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in an engineering management role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must have experience in industrial engineering and continuous improvement practices.
- Knowledge of feasibility studies, control design processes is highly desirable.
- Responsible for the design and manufacture of moulds, particularly for automotive projects.
- Proven experience and motivation in an industrial plant environment.
- Proven ability to build strong links between production and quality teams.
- The Engineering Manager will have strong leadership skills.
- Must be ready to work to tight deadlines.
- Willing to be 'hands on' and have a high shop floor presence.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Turkish.
Job Description:
- Manage projects within budget and time constraints from RFQ stage to SOP.
- Listing of required equipment, defining specifications and preparing RFQ files with all associated documentation.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables.
- Analyse customer technical data, prepare feasibility reports and participate in the submission of proposals to customers.
- Lead and participate in design activities and prioritise projects.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support during project implementation phases
- Apply and identify standard design practices that are highly repeatable and cost effective.
- Design assembly processes and layouts.
- Perform fault analysis and find solutions to technical problems.
- Liaise with suppliers/tool makers to ensure jigs and fixtures are manufactured correctly and on time.
- Update jig drawings, revision levels and documentation when changes are made to jigs and fixtures.
- Continuously improve the serial production of assembly, carbon, welding and CNC production process mechanisms.
