In order to support Turkey’s development, POSCO ASSAN TST Steel Ind. Inc. Co., established in 2011 with 350 million dollars investment for consecutive in partnership with South Korean POSCO, which was selected the world’s most competitive steel producer 10 years in row by WSD (World Steel Dynamics), Kibar Holding, which is included in Turkey’s leading business groups and with POSCO Daewoo which has a strong distribution network, is the first and only one cold rolling stainless steel producer in Turkey.
The company, which was founded with “From Asia to Europe Stainless Friendship“ motto and being a symbol of Turkey-South Korea friendship, provides significant benefit to economy of Turkey. The facility, built on a closed area of 169,000 in Asım Kibar Organized Industrial Zone and working in 3 shifts, realizes production for 7 days and 24 hours a day. With the Women Employment Program launched in 2018, 25 women operators were employed at different departments and total employee number has reached more than 500 employees.
POSCO ASSAN TST is the 79th biggest company among 500 companies in Turkey in according to ISO, 2022 researches. Stepping in to the tenth year in production this year, with the export made in 2017 and 2018 the company won the first prize in Stars of Steel Export Award Ceremony organized by the Steel Exporters Association and carried out the shipment of 2 million tons in June 2023.
We are looking for "Senior Mechanical Maintenance Specialist" for our Maintenance Department.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree on Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3-6 years of experience
- Previous experience in metal (ferrous-nonferrous) production industry is preferred
- Good command of English
- Excellent knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and AutoCAD
- Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and attention to detail
- Locating in or willing to relocate to Kocaeli
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for control of the mechanical maintenance team members for production facilities
- Managing periodical and breakdown maintenance (mechanical pneumatic, hydraulic equip.) and setting counter measures
- Control of subcontractors and contracting equipment
- Preparing required spare parts and making stock optimization
- Preparing all technical documentation for purchasing spare parts and manage the budget
- Making root cause analysis for breakdowns and managing the required countermeasures
- To ensure equipment improvement projects and support and guide site members for improvement ideas
- CNC roll grinding, overhead cranes, rolling machines knowledge is a plus
