We are looking for a " Project Manager (Civil)” which will work in Çalık Enerji’s Renewable Energy Investments Project Execution Division at Head Office in İstanbul with following qualifications, responsibilities and personal characteristics.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 14 years (min 6 projects completion) of experience in Industrial or Power plant projects civil and structural works (both in engineering, procurement, subcontractor & supplier management)
- Speak and write English fluently.
- Advance user of IT, MS Office (Excel, Word PowerPoint, etc.), AutoCAD, Google earth or civil design programs
- Have experience and knowledge of ground, structural (steel and reinforced concrete), architectural, isolation, infrastructural works of Power Plants
- No military obligation for male candidates.
- No obstacles to travel (national & international)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Overall responsible for all Civil and Structural technical matters in the civil part of the renewable energy power plant projects (especially pre project execution period, engineering, procurement and supporting construction activities)
- Works on development of conceptual designs, equipment selections, optimization studies, review and control of calculations and design drawings, specifications, BOQ preparation, cost estimations for project budget and schedule and EPC works
- Managing and facilitating the preliminary and detailed design as per the Project Management, Civil Engineering requirements.
- Control, Correction, Review, follow up and approval of civil and structural engineering projects, calculations documents and activities ensuring that the Power Plant is technically compliant with the technical requirements & standards and site physical conditionsControl
- Preparation of RFP packages, Opening of SAP purchase requests and execution of tender technical evaluations, payment procedures
- Follow-up of subcontractors and suppliers on all technical, cost, logistics and schedule matters (including progress payment and contract management issues)
- Ensuring that the civil and structural engineering and procurement program progress is reasonable and accurately considers the detailed Design Timeline, key equipment procurement and allowance for commissioning, testing and local technical requirements
- Supporting the head office project technical office team for project’s civil EPC part
- During construction phase site visits and site coordination, coordination of Site and Head office Civil teams.
