Äager GmbH specializes in providing process, emission and pollution control products focused on energy, oil & gas, water, marine, and mining industries, specifically storage tank terminals, pipelines, refineries, chemical and industrial plants, water treatment facilities, and alternative energy.
An excellent and exciting career opportunity is currently available for an Inside Sales Engineer to drive growth in the existing and new product groups, reporting to the Marketing Manager based in Türkiye.
Role Description
This is a full-time Sales role located in Mersin, Turkiye. The Inside Sale Engineer is responsible for handling coming inquiries, questions and calls from customers, and handing them over to related sales representatives after evaluating. Evaluation criteria will be based on the coming inquiry and future opportunities. The Inside Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting and selling our products and services to new and existing customers. Generate new opportunities depending on customers’ activities. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate fluently in English, build strong and long-lasting relationships with clients, and be comfortable with customer presentations and proposals.
Responsibilities
l Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
l Understand customer needs and requirements
l Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure
l Generate future opportunities from the same clients by analyzing their activities and needs
l Help sales team to close sales and achieve quarterly quotas
l Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
l Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned territory
l Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
l Perform effective online demos to prospects
Qualifications
l Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business, or a related field
l Fluent in English (German, French, Russian languages are preferred) (written and spoken)
l Minimum of 6-8 years of sales experience in a B2B environment, preferably in the energy, oil & gas, water, marine, or mining industry
l Experience in CRM, lead generation, and networking
l Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
l Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
l Customer-focused with a proven record of building and maintaining client relationships
