Position: Accountant

Location: Istanbul
Job Summary : Under the responsibility of the Finance Manager and working within the team, ensures that all finance & administration activities connected with the stores are taken care.
Responsibilities
ACCOUNTING:
- Control of the accuracy of accounting document archiving procedures;
- Control of the correctness of sales collection reconciliation;
- Control and reconciliation of advances and credit vouchers;
- Control and posting of travel expenses;
- Control, reconciliation and posting of the customs and transport documents;
- Control and posting of third parties vendor invoices;
- Daily and monthly bank report to the treasury department;
- Bank reconciliation;
- Support to the monthly closing procedure.
ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIVITIES:
- Archive of legal and fiscal documentation of the company;
- Customs documents management.
GENERAL SERVICES:
- Daily support to the store about cash management fiscal and administrative issues;
- Contact for local vendors, banks, insurance companies and customs broker regarding administrative issues;
- Contact and support for other internal functions about administrative issues.
Personal Abilities Requested:
High degree of flexibility, teamwork, commitment and responsibility;
Accurate and reliable.
Technical Abilities and Experience Requested:
- Knowledge of Turkish accounting,
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting ideally in an international company;
- Fluent English;
- Knowledge of the main Microsoft applications (Excel, Word);
- Ideally knowledge of SAP R3 (FI, AA, MM).
