General Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred
- Proven experience in accounting or financial roles
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- High level of integrity and ethical standards
Job Description
The General Accounting Specialist will be responsible for:
- Preparing and maintaining financial records, reports, and general ledgers
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and budgets
- Conducting reconciliations of accounts and resolving any discrepancies
- Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Assisting with tax preparation and compliance activities
- Contributing to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures
- Collaborating with internal teams and external auditors as needed
- Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
- Providing support for financial analysis and decision-making
- Participating in special projects and initiatives as required
