Qualifications,
- Bachelor’s degree,
- At least 6 years of merchandising and product experience in the fashion retail industry,
- Advanced level of written and spoken English,
- Excellent analizing and organizing skills,
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills,
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications,
- Being result oriented and having a commercial viewpoint is an asset.
Basic Functions,
- A global product range suitable for all markets in which activity preparation of the purchasing processes according to the timetable in the buying calendar,
- Within the scope of the development of the stock options and planning strategies; development of stock option plan, range plan and package plan,
- To be able to dominate the customer insights, the needs of the customer's wardrobe be understood,
- Development and management of the collection plan,
- Reviewing competition / fashion / lifestyle status and fashion & lifestyle positioning of the collection and development of short / medium / long term business plans,
- Along with the operation function, after the Sketch Sign off and Final Sign off meetings, review and revise the price points, determine the final pricing on country / channel basis,
- Management of Fast Track collection and OTB budget,
- Within the scope of conducting market and competition analyzes; visiting the determined competitor store locations, extracting the characteristics of competitor stores, determining the option numbers,
- Management of pre sign off meetings, selection of samples, tracking of costs and margins,
- Management experience in a team-oriented workplace preferred,
- Following up trends, visiting suppliers regularly and choosing collections from suppliers,
- Support product development processes management according to buying calendar timelines, monitor and support process to ensure successful on time sample development and costing process in collaboration with product managers, merchandisers and buyers,
- Support buyers in meeting with suppliers to gain market intelligence and collect new samples,
- Determining the supply strategy,
- Managing category capacity according to supplier portfolio,
- Supply of products at the expected price, quality and deadline. Creating a supplier portfolio so that the right product is placed at the right price and on the desired deadline,
- Visiting suppliers regularly, having collections made by suppliers and selecting collections from suppliers.
