QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We're looking for Quality Assurance/Quality Control Specialist for our global businees partner, which is operating in retail industry.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Performing product inspections
- Inspecting factory quality operations and compliance to safety/EU requirements (REACH, EN71-1 etc)
- Reporting inspection results, defining corrective actions and supporting suppliers in development.
- Coordinating QA activities with merchandisers, quality colleagues and suppliers
- Making product risk assessments
- Training colleagues and suppliers
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in (International retail sourcing office) Manufacturing/RMG industry, with managerial and project management experience.
- Graduate Degree in Textile, Garment, or Industrial Engineering or in related field.
- Master’s degree or equivalent will be preferred.
- Certification ISO 9001 or Six Sigma would be preferred but not compulsory.
- Knowledge in product quality/safety of Softline/Hardline products
- Knowledge/experience regarding factory audits on products and systems, preferably also GMP
- Desirably knowledge about high-risk household products such as EA, toys, FCM.
- Excellent command on written and spoken English and Turkish
- High attention to detail, data accuracy, prioritization and decision making.
- Flexible attitude to change.
