Trio Mobil is seeking a skilled and Senior Reliability Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Reliability Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the dependability and robustness of our hardware solutions, thereby contributing to the safety and efficiency of workplaces across various industries.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement reliability engineering programs to assess, monitor, and improve the performance and reliability of Trio Mobil's hardware solutions.
- Conduct reliability analyses and assessments to identify potential failure modes and mitigate risks through proactive measures.
- Lead and oversee Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) and Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) activities to identify design weaknesses and manufacturing defects early in the development process.
- Analyze test, field performance, and manufacturing data to identify and resolve reliability issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and quality assurance, to integrate reliability considerations into the design and development process.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations to identify the underlying causes of hardware failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including MIL-STD, EN 60068 and other industrial standards, by incorporating applicable requirements into Trio Mobil's reliability engineering practices.
- Provide comprehensive technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders on reliability-related matters, including design reviews, testing protocols and proactive solutions for addressing field performance problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in electrical, electronics, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master's or Ph.D.) is a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering, preferably in a hardware-focused environment; experience in the IoT industry is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of reliability principles, methodologies, and tools, such as FMEA, fault tree analysis, reliability block diagrams, accelerated life testing, and Weibull analysis.
- Experience with Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) and Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) methodologies.
- Familiarity with MIL-STD and other relevant industrial standards and regulations.
- Experience in power electronics, RF, EMC and EMI fields.
