QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
"Turkey's National Health Technologies-TRUSTLIFE" has been established to bring innovative treatment goals and drug candidates determined in research conducted by academics, R&D organizations, and Start-Ups in our country together with investors and serves as a bridge between early-stage R&D and commercialization. It has the necessary organization to provide support for all sub-items covering financial, managerial, and technical aspects of these studies.
Trustlife is Turkey's first and only health technologies platform and is an approved Venture Capital Investment Fund (GSYF) by the Capital Markets Board (SPK). The Trustlife Management Office is located in Levent, and Trustlife Labs Drug R&D Center, approved by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, is located in Ataşehir.
Our center has state-of-the-art modern infrastructure and consists of Computational Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Cell and Tissue Culture, and Formulation units. Innovative drug development studies continue for common diseases of our time for which our patients urgently need treatment, such as brain cancer, fatty liver disease and cancer, kidney cancer, age-related muscle wasting, prostate and pancreatic cancer, at our R&D Center. These projects include new target discovery through artificial intelligence multiomic data analysis, new drug discovery and design for the identified target, organic synthesis of identified new drug candidate molecules, purification, analytical characterization steps, in vitro ADME, activity and toxicity determinations, formulation, in vivo animal studies, and clinical trial processes for innovative drugs.
To evaluate their experiences in our goal of developing our country's original drugs and making a mark in the global pharmaceutical sector, we are looking for a "POST-DOCTORAL RESEARCHER" to join our Trustlife family. The position is in Ankara, Hacettepe University, Sıhhiye Campus, in one of Trustlife’s sub-companies “Immunofence Health Tecnologies Inc.”. Immunofence focuses on testing anti-tumor responses upon administration of novel adoptive immunotherpies, modulating the mechanisms regulating immune infiltration of tumors, and longevity of immune reactions in the tumor microenvironment.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduates of molecular biology and genetics, veterinary sciences, medical biology, or similar departments; proficient in spoken and written English; research-oriented, analytical thinker, open to development and knowledge sharing; solution-oriented, inclined to teamwork, high planning, and organizational skills, detail-oriented, careful, systematic worker; completed military service if applicable for male candidates.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience of working with mouse models will be preferred. A strong background in laboratory animal handling, drug administration, tissue collection, and basic surgical procedures is required. Candidates with experience in performing immunological assays (e.g. flow cytometry, MACS and FACS), cell culture and/or molecular biology applications are also encouraged to apply.
