We are looking for a Service & Support Engineer in IZMIT.
As a Service & Support Egnineer you are contributing to:
- Analyze customer’s functional requirements and work with customer’s engineers towards sensible system solutions
- Provide life cycle support for DCS and Safety Systems specifically regarding Installation, start up, modifications of software, upgrade, maintenance, repair
- Responsible for the correct- technical design, implementation and testing for the part of the scope as assigned to within the timeframes as agreed
- Responsible for AMC maintenance activities.
- Analyze, verify, complete and translate user requirements specification into front end engineering design, Functional Design Specification (FDS) and system design documents.
- Willingness to work offshore or overseas to suit project requirements; implementation and test of modifications and commissioning of systems on site
- Develop customer awareness of Yokogawa DCS engineering capabilities
- Technical responsibility for all aspects of design, installation, and commissioning of DCS&ESD systems
- Be available for 24/7 service for installed system at customer sites (including remote support and acting as resident engineer in case of required)
- Support, lead and/or execute the internal test of a process control and emergency shutdown system, perform FAT&SAT
- Create and issue test documentation and reports
- Train technical personnel ( internal and client also on location)
What you will bring to us:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electric&Electronic, process automation or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a project or field based Control System / Emergency Shutdown System. Performed support/ system modification / upgrade/ AMC / replacement activities
- Fluent English (speaking and writing skills)
- Willingness to travel both onshore and offshore
- Practical, decisive and self-starter
- Flexible attitude and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of and experience with software programs such as MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, Autocad, Eplan
- Driving licence B required
- Completed military service for male
