QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

As Dinamik Teknoloji, we are looking for a “ Senior Network Administrator” for our newly formed software team, which is located in Gebze Teknopark. You will be working on our biggest automotive aftermarket B2B systems renewal project in Turkey, especially the global B2B project.

We work in agile teams and in this role, you will be a part of our frontend and backend team. You will work very closely with UI / UX Design and Backend teams with the goal of building components and implementing features. Teams have the freedom to choose their own methodology between Scrum and Kanban as long as they can establish improvement in each cycle. We have product owners in charge of the product backlog and we value improvements in small increments rather than large batches.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that processes related to Network and Security Operations management are operated in accordance with current IT policies and procedures,
• Preparation and updating of the relevant technical documentation,
• Designing, managing and monitoring of network and security systems,
• Taking the necessary measures for the continuity and safety of the systems,
• Planning, setting up and managing the communication network backbone, internet and wide area network components of the endpoints in different cities,
• Installation and access management of wireless networks,
• Realization of capacity planning and performance management of data communication networks,
• Ensuring the security of systems within the framework of corporate IT Security policies,
• Analysis, determination and project design of new products and solutions related to security infrastructures,
• Periodic Information Technologies security checks,
• Investigation and reporting of security incidents,
• Taking precautions for situations that may cause interruptions, making alternative plans,
• Determining the design and setup of security tests,
• Designing network and security infrastructures,
• Writing and periodic checking of firewall rules,
• Performing penetration tests and vulnerability scans,
• Determining the policies of security equipment used in Information Technologies,
• Carrying out the monitoring processes of the products used within the scope of log management,
• Answering the relevant calls directed through the Help Desk,
• Taking a role in related projects in line with the needs of the organization, presenting technical opinions and evaluations on the relevant subject if requested, and conducting research on them.

Qualifications:

• Graduated from Computer Engineering or equivalent departments of universities,
• At least 6 years of IT Network and Security management experience,
• Have experience working in projects where corporate multi-end/location and domain component networks and systems are managed,
• Regarding security policies; Good knowledge and experience in Firewall, IPS/IDS, URL Filtering, VPN, NAC, Log Management and Configuration,
• Preferably advanced knowledge of FortiGate Firewall, Trend Micro End Point, McAfee DLP IPS&IDS products,
• Have field installation and configuration experience in Cisco, Aruba, HP brand Routing, VoIP, Switching, Wireless,
• Have knowledge and application experience in ISO 27001 Information Security Management System,
• Worked on Windows and Linux Servers,
• Fluent in English at a level to follow the literature, able to read and write technical texts in English,
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Have good communication skills, prone to teamwork,
• Able to work comfortably outside working hours,
• Willing to change and learn,
• WAN communication protocols, LAN communication protocols, data communication network topologies, communication network active devices (router, modem, switch, AP, etc.), communication network passive devices, switching, routing, WAN optimization, Firewall, IPS/IDS, VPN, BGP Experienced in OSPF, VOIP, QOS, DHCP, Internet, wireless networking,
• Have knowledge on continuous monitoring of network infrastructure, analysis of network traffic and network traffic performance management,
• Worked and have experience in security processes and technologies (Penetration Test, Stress Test, Encryption Firewall, IPS, Vulnerability Scanning Systems, DLP, Log Management and Analysis, Antivirus, Web, E-mail and Network Security, VPN technologies, etc.),
• Preferably have CCNA, CCNP, CCNA Security and Related Network and Security Certificates,
• Have an analytical mindset, high problem-solving skills and coordination skills, and able to use initiative,
• Completing the works that he/she works with a proactive and result-oriented approach by following them from start to finish.
