We are looking for a "Suppy Chain Director" to be assigned to the Supply Chain department of our company, which is one of the most important organizations in the defense industry, railway and trailer sectors.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree preferably in Engineering,
- 15+ years work and minimum 7 years managerial experience in planning, purchasing and supply chain,
- Excellent communication skills in English,
- Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze large complex data sets to derive relevant intelligence in developing sourcing strategies or supporting negotiations,
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic environment,
- Experience in developing and implementing systems and teams,
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and excellent planning and scheduling skills,
- Strong negotiation and problem solving skills,
- Ability to work comfortably with Canias and MS Office software,
- A good team player with superior communication and interpersonal skills,
- Residence in Gebze or Sakarya
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Oversee the entire supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, planning, inventory management, and order fulfillment, to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company’s goals and market demands, including sustainability initiatives and risk management plans
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to secure favorable terms and ensure a reliable supply of materials and services
- Implement and utilize advanced supply chain management technologies and systems for improved visibility, tracking, and optimization of operations
- Lead and manage the supply chain team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, to build a high-performing team
- Provide regular progress and status reports to the top management
- Support new projects of the company
