About the job
Key Responsibilities
· To draw the Customer ‘s enquiry / order giving design requirement (specifications, drawings, sketches)
· To review applicable design norms / standards for intended product and work for new designs
· Co-ordinating with customer services and mold shop departments
· Maintaining the library for design and drawing for all project
· Working with Global R&D team on projects
· Working with production, production planning, quality laboratory and follow up the R&D tests and interpret the results
· Follow up, ensuring quality and preparing the progress report for manufactured items will also be parallel responsibility
· Follow up R&D regulations in Turkey
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor/Master-degree in engineering (mechanical or related field)
· 2-5 years of professional experience in R&D
· Plastic injection and mold manufacturing process knowledge
· Knowledge of 3D CAD modeling, especially solidworks
· Knowledge of vectorial design, especially CorelDraw
· Knowledge of intellectual property will be an asset
· Experience in R&D Centers for paper work will be an asset.
· Good knowledge of written and spoken English
· Customer focused personality
· Team Player & positive approach
· Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in plastic goods design
· Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
· Excellent Planning and Organization skills
· Excellent troubleshooting ability with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
