We are looking for a "Compliance Specialist / Senior Specialist " to be assigned at our headquarters in Maslak, Istanbul.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Finance or a related field (Master's or certifications are a plus).
- Proven experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory affairs.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- A commitment to upholding ethical standards and integrity.
Requirements:
- Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify potential areas of risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures primarily but without limitation on matters of Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions, Whistleblowing, GDPR, general corporate governance compliance.
- Collaborates with other corporate functions, such as Internal Audit, Legal, Finance/Accounting, Human Resources, Procurement, Marketing and other business units to direct compliance activities to appropriate channels.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards, and ensure that the company remains in compliance.
- Investigate and address compliance issues, violations, and discrepancies.
- Implement a confidential reporting system for employees to raise concerns.
- Assist in training employees on compliance-related matters.
- Develop and maintain records to document compliance activities.
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and update compliance programs accordingly.
- Conducts and records a risk based due-diligence process over all the third parties with whom company plans to interacts.
- Track compliance projects and ensure timely/effective follow up, as appropriate
