- A bachelor's or master’s degree in the related field,
- A valid teaching certification in chemistry,
- Five + years of experience at a high school level (IB experience is preferable),
- Candidates with a good level of English (IELTS score 6,5 or above is a plus),
- The ability to collaborate and adapt as well as model learning for colleagues and students,
- Proven experience at developing and maintaining meaningful extra/co-curricular activities.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate technology, ESL teaching strategies, and research-based, formative/summative assessment into the learning environment/experience,
- Collaborative personality and the ability to model learning for colleagues and students,
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Job Description
- Plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential,
- Create a learning environment,
- Aid the department in vertical alignment to help develop programs that better prepare students,
- Model learner profile attributes and facilitate student growth,
- Perform certain pastoral duties including but not limited to student support, counseling, academic support, and providing student encouragement.
