QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

REQUIREMENTS

· Graduation in Food Engineering, Veterinary, Production Engineering or related areas.

· Advanced level in English.

· Ability to make presentations in English.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in food industry.

· Strong knowledge on food safety & food technology standards.

· Strong analytical skills.

· Good communication skills.

· Good understanding & application of problem solving tools (PDCA, Cause & Effect Diagram).

· Excellent command of concepts and application of Efficiency, Yield and Productivity concepts.

· Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint).

· Strong problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, and a good team player.

· Availability to work in shifts and alternative production hours.

· Planning & coordination with multicultural environment.

· Living in Bandırma.

MAİN RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

· Guarantee compliance with the quality standards and procedures. Promote the weekly quality dialogue with BC’s.

· Participate in the decision making process for corrective and preventive actions within Production Department. Guide and ensure the reporting of non-conformities in the processes.

· Planning, monitoring, and evaluate job results; coaching and disciplining employees.

· Manage KPI’s related to his/her production line(s).

· Participate in the Process Productivity Meeting.

· Prepare analysis and define actions for indicators that didn't achieve the target. Ensure the correct description of the line stops and volume at the bottleneck.

· Ensure the correct usage of RM, Ingredients according to the BOM, and proper losses control.

· Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources. Perform 5S in shop floor.

· Ensure that health and safety guidelines are implemented and followed within Production. Ensure the issuance, monitoring and closing of PTW/JSA.

· Monitor quality of raw materials and finished products.

· Manage processes and material flows, and work to maximize utilization of equipment. Monitor the material orderings.

· To comply with the Quality Management System, Food Safety Management System, Halal Food Production, Legal and Private Customer requirements in the field and in the Department. Assisting in the development, updating and maintenance of procedures and documentation for all Quality and Management Systems.

· Ensure that employees are trained to do their work and their trainings are documented.

· Escort audits within his/her sector and implement corrective actions in case of deviation.
