QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
FPS Flexible Packaging Solutions provides FIBCs or Big Bags, container liners, and other flexible packaging for chemical, food, pharmaceutical, agriculture, and many other sectors.

For our Turkey plants in Samandıra, Sultanbeyli and Hadimkoy, we are looking for a Quality Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Overall development, implementation, improvement and maintenance of the organization’s Quality Management Systems conforming with customers and regulatory requirements and promoting consistency throughout the organization,
- Working by the principles of continuous improvement of the process of quality and efficiency,
- Monitoring and improving internal metrics and customer indicators/ KPIs and developing action plans with the team to achieve the targets,
- Coordination with the related departments for customer audits and following up on corrective and preventive actions,
- Planning and conducting internal audits to allow sustainability of implemented management systems,
- Monitoring and following up the closure of all non-conformances and customer complaints using the procedures and managing the teams,
- Performing external supplier audits ensuring compliance with the Quality Management System,
- Ensuring accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices
- Developing and implementing strategic plans for continuous improvement of quality processes
- Monitoring and reporting on quality performance regularly
- Working to establish, disseminate and maintain the quality culture at all levels of the organisation,
- Managing Non-conforming product and unconditional acceptance procedures if the inspected raw materials, semi-finished products, and end products deviate from the specified limits in the quality control plan, ensuring whether the deviation is within critical limits and aligning conditional acceptance processes with production priorities.
- Monitoring supplier performance, preparing trend analyses, actively participating in non-conformity resolutions, supplier performance improvements, and audits/visits.
- Managing the process of customer complaints, root cause analysis, and conducting field audits/visits when necessary.
- Participating in supplier approval processes for new raw materials, reviewing their compliance with quality and food safety processes, and supporting the development of action plans in case of non-conformities.
- Training, developing, and guiding team members to increase their performance and motivation, and encourage teamwork and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering is preferable,
- At least 5 years of managerial experience in quality departments in the manufacturing industry,
- Excellent knowledge and experience of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and BRC systems including system development,
- Good knowledge of inspection and measurement techniques, calibration, laboratory testing,
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, decision making and proactive problem-solving capabilities, as well as the ability to perform under stress,
- Analytical-minded, goal-oriented and initiative taker,
- Well-organised, self-driven with strong cultural adaptability and flexibility,
- Skilled at team building and effectively working with cross-functional teams local and global,
- Excellent command of English both verbal and written,
- Advanced computer skills including MS Office applications and QDMS,
- No restrictions for travelling domestically,
