QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
AVL is the world’s largest independent company with more than 11.000 employees worldwide working on the development of vehicle powertrains, controls, software, autonomous driving, data intelligence, instrumentation and test systems. We are looking for highly qualified and talented individuals to join our AVL Research and Engineering Turkey organization in Istanbul.
Qualifications
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer / Electronics / Mechatronics / Control Engineering and preferably MSc and/or PhD qualifications
• Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English.
• Minimum 3 year of relevant experience.
• Willingness to travel abroad.
And a solid understanding of the following topics:
• Object Oriented Programming (using at least one of the following languages:
C#, Java, Python, C++)
• Application Development: Desktop application (WPF, Qt, WinForms etc.), Web application (AngularJS, Angular, React, etc.) or Mobile application (Android, IOS)
• Algorithms & Data Structures, Databases (MongoDB, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Agile/SCRUM development process
• Version Control (Git or SVN)
Job Description
Software Engineers develop advanced components and systems to be able to handle upcoming challenges of digitalization and autonomy in automotive. They focus on developing enterprise desktop and web-based engineering software and tools.
Description of daily responsibilities include, but is not limited to, the following:
• Design, code, test, document and maintain software solutions
• Requirements engineering/management
• Involve in R&D activities
