QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
- Graduated with a bachelor’s/master’s degree from related departments of universities, preferably from Engineering
- Min 5 years working experience in purchasing and import processes
- Fluency in English both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP programs (IFS knowledge will be preferred)
- Ensuring the management and development of supplier relationships,
- Contributing to finding domestic alternative resources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, developed bargaining/negotiation skills,
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with various departments and self-disciplined.
- Residing/able to reside in the Anatolian Side of Istanbul or Kocaeli (Preferably residing in Istanbul Kartal, Pendik, Tuzla and Kocaeli center, Körfez, Derince, Gebze, Darıca, Çayırova, İzmit regions).
- To supply direct and indirect material demands from other units from domestic and foreign sources at affordable prices, quality and time,
- Placing purchase orders via IFS system, and be involved in PSI (Purchase&Sales&Inventory) processes,
- Creation of purchasing forms and execution of approval processes
- Tracking invoices on a supplier basis and obtaining relevant approvals and managing the process with the relevant payment term.
- Carrying out the return or damage compensation process in case the purchased material arrives inappropriately
- Contributing to the raw material/packaging material development phase of new products by collaborating with technical departments,
