Job Description
- Manage the daily operations of the reservation department, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service
- Ensure that all reservations are accurately entered into the Opera system and that all special requests are noted
- Work closely with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of the reservation department
- Analyze reservation data and make recommendations for improvements
- Monitor reservation trends and adjust pricing and availability accordingly
- Train, supervise, and motivate reservation staff
- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues related to reservations
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel's products and services
- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing department to ensure that all promotions and packages are effectively communicated to guests
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a reservation role
- Expertise in Opera system
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Guest service oriented, fostering teamwork, and giving feedback
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
- Knowledge of reservation systems and procedures
- Fluency in English
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
