QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Ihsan Okulları delivers an international curriculum using high level teaching, assessment and behavior management strategies in a stimulating and safe learning environment to ensure all children can access learning.
Our school is hiring for the 2024-2025 Academic year in our campuses (Başakşehir, Küçükçekmece and Esenyurt). We are looking for an enthusiastic High School Physics Teacher with excellent subject knowledge and passion to face challenges and inspire our students to truly understand the beauty and real life applications of Physics.
You will be instrumental in our mission to provide every student a great education and real choices in life, regardless of their background. A passionate practitioner, you will deliver high-quality, rigorous lessons that drive achievement and inspire a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.
You must demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess the ability to settle quickly into dynamic classroom environments. You will be working alongside a great team of teachers and admin staff who will support you when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Physics
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Teaching certification
- Appropriate for MEB assignment requirements
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Native or near-native English speaker
- Experience in teaching AP Physics and preparing students for the exam is a must
- Able to bring your subject alive in the classroom, motivating your classes, especially through modern research techniques in Physics teaching
- Equipped to deliver and develop curricula and programs
- Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills
- Engage with students and foster positive relationships
- Experience in preparation for national or international exams (AP, SAT, IB) is a plus Ability to work with a diverse student body and faculty
- Open to work around new cultures and ideas, positive thinker, team player
- Technology literate, can use educational technologies to creatively present the curriculum face-to-face or online
- Provide sufficient challenge to your students, to ensure they excel in their learning
- Have a commitment to creating a productive educational experience for students
- Have a proven history of improving students’ performance
- Be flexible, enthusiastic and have a willingness to learn from others
- Have the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment
