We are looking “ Piping Works Group Manager ” for our heavy industry project taking place in Russia.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of Engineering,
- Minimum of 15 years of proven experience in managing piping design and installation in heavy industry projects,
- Experienced in project and site management in Power & Heat, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects,
- Advanced knowledge of industry standards and regulations (ASME, EN) related to piping systems; familiarity with Russian standards and regulations (GOST) is a big plus,
- Strong proficiency in MS Office programs, MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Russian is preferred,
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams,
- Excellent report drafting skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively coordinate, motivate and inspire a team,
- Ability to work and lead well under pressure in a fast-paced work environment,
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented character without neither losing focus of the project goals nor the sight of the big picture,
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Implementing piping works in the field and ensuring the control of subcontractors,
- Being responsible for all works within the scope, anticipating risks and problems that may arise during manufacturing, reporting to higher authorities,
- Managing the relevant work schedule within the required quality and occupational safety procedures
- Checking and approving completed works and reporting any discrepancies,
- Carrying out follow-ups assigned, in order to ensure compliance of the performed works with quality standards and regulations,
- Ensuring field control and coordination of materials,
- Managing subcontractors or teams,
- Checking and reporting subcontractor progress payments according to completed works,
- Controlling daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports from subcontractors, reporting discrepancies and intervening if necessary,
