Koç University Communications Office will be hiring a Social Media Specialist with the following qualifications.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Master’s degree in Communications, Humanities or Social/Administrative Sciences is a plus
- Minimum 4 years of experience in corporate communications, brand and marketing communications either in Marketing/PR/Digital or Creative Agency or an Internal Marcom Department
- Proficiency with major social media platforms and social media management tools
- Excellent social listening skills
- Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
- Strong copywriting and copy editing skills in Turkish and English
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, HTML and CSS
JOB DESCRIBTION
- Develop, manage and Execute a results-driven social media strategy for Koç University
- Manage and guide social media agencies according to strategy
- Collaborate with the communications team to create a social media calendar.
- Assist, support and suggest recommendations to Koç University’s colleges/schools/research centers for their social media strategies
- Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content for social media channels
- Attend Koç University’s events and produce live social media content throughout the academic year
- Monitor social media channels for industry trends
- Review analytics and create reports on key metrics, prepare monthly reports on social media marketing efforts
- Suggest recommendations to adjust the social media marketing strategy for optimal results
