- Conducts proper surveillance and recognition to prevent accidents or any untoward incidents from occurring and reacts appropriately and very timely to any emergency.
- Administers lifesaving maneuvers in the pool, Basic Life Support and First Aid when necessary.
- Ensures adherence to Hotel and Departmental service standards at all times.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of the pool and its immediate surroundings.
- Consistently and diplomatically enforces the rules and regulations of the facility, hygiene, and safety guidelines.
- Ability to interact with guests, providing full knowledge and assistance for maximum guest usage in an outgoing and positive manner.
- Must possess a current Lifeguarding licenses and certifications, Basic Water Safety, Basic Life Support and First Aid certification in accordance with local regulations.
- In depth knowledge of Pool operations.
- Demonstrates positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity, and professionalism to internal and external clients.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor and great “connection” with people.
- 2-3years experience as a Lifeguard in a hotel or resort is preferable.
- Good command of English.
