We are and looking for dynamic, pro-active, analytical approached, enthusiastic, innovative, passionate and self-motivated Senior Environmental Specialist who will reports to directly ESG Director.

What awaits you in this role?
- Monitoring of environmental permit processes and reparation and following-up of Environmental Impact Assessment and Project Introduction File,
- Preparing internal and external reports and making the communication,
- Ensuring compliance to related Turkish regulations, EIA and ESIA commitments, and EBRD requirements,
- Following and reporting the environmental legislation of the project,
- Supporting the policies and procedures and fulfilling the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System, International standards, and other legal requirements of the company,
- Ensuring compliance of the commitments specified in the EIA and ESIA,
- Conducting risk assessments, following environmental policies, and supporting the preparation of environmental management plans,
- Supporting the review process of all work instructions, business practices and project methods applied in operations in terms of environmental management,
- Taking an active role to prepare of environmental management instructions and announcements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in environmental, hydrogeology or related engineering departments,
- At least 7 years of job experience in mining area (no matter open pit or underground),
- Environment Responsible Certificate is required,
- A grade Wastewater treatment plant responsible certificate or technical responsible of WWTF as mentioned in regulations,
- Knowledge about EIA works, environmental and HSE law, related Turkish and International regulations, implementations, and best practices,
- Knowledge in management systems ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and International Cyanide Management Code (ICMC),
- Working experience in Environmental Impact Assessment and Project Introduction File,
- Environmental Management Service Competency certificate owner from Ministry of Environment and Urbanization,
- Excellent command of English both written and verbal,
- Self-disciplined and self-starter,
- Effective communication and presentation skills,
- Good command of MS Office Applications,
- Residing in Ankara city or willing to relocate,
- No travel restrictions for the frequent site visit (Develi-Kayseri)
- Current valid driver license.
