Receptionist at Taskonaklar Hotel Cappadocia

Taşkonaklar Hotel, located in Uçhisar, the most important town in terms of luxury accommodation in Cappadocia, has been serving for 16 years. Job description:

To ensure correct, flawless reception operations such as guest emails, check-in / check out processes, follow-up of guest requests and high guest satisfaction.

Tasks & Responsibilities

· Make sure to welcome guests positively

· Process guest registrations. Make sure daily check-in folios are ready before the arrival of the guests for speedy check-in process

· Prepare checkout folios, including the check-out balances and collection of payment.

· Communicate all necessary shift information to Front Office staff, such as guest requests, activity reservations etc.

· Send and receive telephone calls for hotel reservation inquiries, sort / reply incoming mail and messages during shift.

· To provide guests with options for room upsell based on availability.

· Ensure effective communication and working relationship with the operations team and other departments for success and to ensure guest satisfaction.

· Encouraging guests to use the hotel facilities for their enjoyment

· To perform the front desk cash transactions

· Ensure paperwork regarding guests and other divisions is processed in a timely manner.

· Ensure timely compilation of Front Office reports necessary for housekeeping and F&B departments

· To ensure that the shift is delivered to the next shift with all key and necessary information.

Requirements

· Two years hotel Reception Agent experience

· To be successful as a Front Desk Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a guest service role.

· You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations.

· This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus

· Able to communicate in written and spoken English and Turkish

· Knowledge of Property Management Systems (preferably Elektra), Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office

· Successful problem-solving skills

· Excellent overall communication skills

· Able to multitask

· The ability to work well in a team environment

· Preferred Candidate
