BEST Transformer, founded in 1966 in Balıkesir, produces oil immersed distribution transformers, power transformers, cast resin transformers, reactors, and mechanical components in its newly built and modernized -design, production, and testing departments.
BEST, with its ever-increasing customer portfolio and new references keeps growing to be a preferred brand in electromechanical sector for domestic and international markets.
We search for “Power Transformers Purchasing Engineer” to enrich our growing team. The candidate will be responsible for reporting.
- University degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Material Engineering
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Excellent command of MS Office tools
- No obligation for military service (for male candidates)
- Having Driver License B
- Living in or willing to relocate to Balıkesir
Job Description
- Conducting research and finding alternative suppliers, markets, products regarding the products to be supplied and reporting the results
- Examining and controlling the ability of existing and new suppliers to provide materials/services in accordance with company quality standards and to supply them in the desired quantity and time
- In order to ensure the supply of materials in the stipulated time and quality, research, receiving proposals, order creation and approval, coordination with relevant units and payment follow-up
- Working with banks, customs officers and shipper companies to import materials that require import in accordance with procedures and legislation
- Preparation of shipping, import, bank documents and forwarding them to the relevant units for the completion of the import process
