We are looking for a ‘ Senior Renewables Engineer’ for Borusan EnBW Energy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- MS degree in Mathematical Engineering, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering departments of universities,
-
Minimum 3 years of relevant project experience,
-
6+ years experience in at least two technical fields,
-
Capable of performing all needed project engineering and administrative tasks,
-
Hands-on knowledge and experience of data analytics and power forecast of power plants, Good IT skills and excellent knowledge of MS Office package and Data Assessment Tools (SQL, Python, R etc.)

Understanding of common algorithms and their application in solving real-world problems
-
Ability to produce clear written reports and communicate professionally in English and Turkish,
-
Good analytical and problem-solving skills,
-
Excellent leadership, influencing, teamwork, and communication skills,
-
Ideally experience as engineer in the wind and solar energy industry in variety of sectors such as manufacturers, project developers and consultants is highly desirable,
-
Awareness of local Health and Safety rules and regulations.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Strong understanding of wind and solar power plants, power forecast and advanced data analytics,
- Conduct continuous evaluation of power forecasts of power plants,
-
Set up, control and ensure the data quality of forecast providers,
-
Prepare internal reports for budgeting and forecasting with regards to generation and forecasts,
-
Participate in engineering studies,
-
Provide technical expertise in data analytics to a team of diversified technical competencies,
-
Report out on engineering tasks and status,
-
Ensure compliance with technical standards, quality & operational safety requirements, environmental constraints, as well as company policies and procedures,
-
Quality management of technical works by preparing quality related documents and checking submittals and works according to the prepared quality management documents,

Participate in Sales and Trading activities with respect to power forecasts,
-
Asset performance management support through development of error detection and monitoring the data of power plants
-
Develop data driven solutions for power plants such as identifying patterns for anomaly detection
-
Provide in depth technical expertise and engineering solutions to project teams to ensure that the project goals and targets are met.
