QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

With a total of 1700 employees in the global 4 production facilities, one of the top 500 industrial establishments in Turkey, producing front suspension parts in the automotive spare parts sector.
We are looking for a Purchasing Engineer with the following qualifications who will be employed under the Purchasing directorate of our company at factory in Düzce.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of the Engineering faculties
• Minimum 3 years experience of technical purchasing in a automotive sector,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programmes,
• Good communication &presentation skills,
• Excellent capability of reporting to superiors,
• Open minded, enthusiastic to learn,
• Result-oriented,
• Advanced planning and organizing capability,
• Willing to work in an intense automotive environment,
• Capable of representing,
• Analytical thinking capabilities, focused on results,
• Experince in building new strategies and cost analysis,
• Having no restrictions for travelling,
• No military obligation for male candidate,
• Living in Düzce or who may live in Düzce,

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Procurement processes for purchase of prototype materials, price quotations, current supplier evaluations, changes and purchases related to investments,
• Manage and perform all the purchasing related activities,
• Manage negotiations with suppliers and reaching cost reduction targets,
• Investigate new potential suppliers and manage their launch processes,
• Collaboration with cross functional divisions; production, logistics, quality, planning teams to flow of information,
• Following the markets of the raw materials from different sources,
• Track supplier evaluations and supplier improvement activities.
