Responsibilities:
· Implementation and tracking of the OPEX strategy in direct and indirect areas in the region EMEA
· Development of the assigned sites and areas on the way to 4 stars, especially active operation of the network to create synergies between several sites
· Contributing to the definition of area strategies, taking into account the Synchronous Production System and the corporate strategy
· Development of employees, managers and key personnel on OPEX topics
· Active change management
· Functional leadership of the OPEX organizations in the assigned region
· Development of process visions and value stream designs
· Contribution to the continuous improvement of the Production System (SPS)
· Initiation and execution of strategic cross-functional projects
· Internal and external benchmarking incl. derivation of action fields
· Execution of SPS assessments
Job Requirements:
· Successfully completed studies in industrial engineering or a similar background
· Experience as a manager in a production environment (Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations)
· Relevant professional experience of 3-5 years
· Profound experience with value stream mapping, design, and management
· Proven expertise in the development of employees and key personnel
· Excellent moderation, communication, conflict and teamwork skills
· Capability to coordinate interdisciplinary teams and build networks
· High degree of persuasiveness as well as willingness to change
· Strong analytical thinking and acting, high problem-solving skills
· Fluent in written and spoken English
· Intercultural competence and very high willingness to travel (up to 50% of the time)
